A New Fund That Helps Children Thrive

The fund supports scientific research, pedagogical innovation, and projects that directly impact the care and development of young children. It enables our pedagogical teams to continue growing in their profession, strengthens our collaboration with parents, and helps ensure that every child receives equal opportunities — with a special focus on the crucial first years of life.

Three International Research Programs

Starting in 2026, three major international research programs will take place. The Netherlands will participate in the first program, while the others will be carried out in different countries.

  • Parenting & Upbringing – exploring how childcare can support parents in their parenting role.
  • Inclusion & Observation – developing pedagogical practices that promote inclusion.
  • Language Development – designing new methods to observe and assess multilingual language development.

Global Ambition, Local Impact

Thanks to this new fund, insights from international research can be directly applied in our locations in the Netherlands. This strengthens the connection between scientific knowledge and everyday practice. And it allows us to support children and parents even better — delivering the highest quality childcare now and in the future.
