This is the accessibility statement of Basker International Childcare B.V. (hereinafter referred to as “Basker International”).

Measures to Support Accessibility

Basker International takes the following measures to ensure the accessibility of the website https://www.baskerinternational.nl (hereinafter: the “Basker International website”):

  • Incorporating accessibility into our internal policies.
  • Providing continuous accessibility training to our employees.
  • Conducting regular accessibility audits.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) provide designers and developers with guidelines to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. There are three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

The Basker International website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not fully meet the accessibility standard.

In 2026, we plan to carry out a comprehensive accessibility audit, and we will continue to strive to improve the accessibility of our websites.

We aim to make this website usable for as many people as possible. This includes enabling users to:

  • Adjust colours, contrast levels, and fonts using their browser or device settings.
  • Zoom up to 400% without text disappearing from the screen.
  • Navigate most of the website using a keyboard or speech recognition software.
  • Listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the latest versions of JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver).
  • Access content written in clear and simple language.

We are aware that some parts of this website are not fully accessible:

  • Contrast: Some website elements have insufficient contrast between background and foreground colours.
  • Best practices: Some touch-sensitive elements are too small or too close together.
  • Navigation: Some headings are not in a proper descending order.
